Sri Lanka, the most exotic and sought-after island on the Indian Ocean with a diverse history and a welcoming culture which is adored by many globally. Sri Lanka is an Island Nation which has an array of natural resources, unending landscapes and natural beauties cover 65,610 km² and a golden boarder of diving pristine beaches.

Tourism is one of the Top Five income earners to Sri Lanka with a landmark figure of almost 2 billion rupees in 2023. Hence the use of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) beyond its operational capacity. This is in view at the backdrop and with an ambitious plan, a 2nd state of the art terminal is under construction as a part of a Japanese collaboration which will increase the capacity significantly. A vision to expand incoming business and leisure capacity as well as offering a convenient hub connecting east and west.

Colombo International Airport Hotels Pvt. Ltd. Was incorporated in 2018 in view of initiating a mega mix development project planned and is situated adjoining the Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo airport, Sri Lanka) and the Katunayake Export Processing Zone (dedicated manufacturing facility with special concessions) in a 3-acre land.

The total project will consist of a hotel and a further two towers proposed including recreation facilities in the same land. The proposed 4 star hotel will benefit directly being close proximity to two of the ‘hubs’ connected through an aero bridge to the Airport and

Colombo International Airport Hotels Pvt. Ltd.
